Expect a lot of sexual references and coarse language. If you are spending Christmas with the Griswalds be prepared for a lot of dysfunction.

At one time or another, we have all wanted something for Christmas. In “A Christmas Story” Ralphie only wants one thing for Christmas, a Red Rider Air Rifle. He’ll have to convince everybody including Santa Clause that it’s suitable for a 9 year old boy. Because we all lived the life of Ralphie, it’s a movie that everybody can relate to. Surprisingly, the movie does contain a fair amount of swearing.

Avengers: EndgameRated PG-13Avengers: Endgamecheck price

MARVEL-ous! Avengers: Endgame brings several storylines to a fantastic conclusion, satifying Avengers’ fans. It takes place after the first movie after Thanos completely devastaed the world with the sanp of his finger. While the first act is slow and the second act is packed with action, the final act is pure awesomeness. While the pacing and cohesiveness of the film is as not as good as Infinity War, Endgame is more emotionally satisfying and takes more risks.

Little WomenRated PGLittle Womencheck price

While the story is set at time when women had limited roles, each of the sisters has different dreams and aspirations. Everything from the costumes to the sets takes you back to the Civil War era. With themes of independence, dreams, and sisterhood, Little Women has plenty of heart.

Looking for a Rom-Com? Who knew Lady Gaga was such a great actress? Based on the 1970s movie, A Star Is Born is a dramatic love story starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Stephen King’s The StandRated NRStephen Kings The Standcheck price

Many people are comparing the Covid-19 pandemic to a Stephen King book called The Stand. In The Stand, a deadly virus known as the Super Flu swept across the globe. Everybody who isn’t immune dies and the people left must rebuild. It’s amazing how closely the plotline mirrors real life. Due to the real life pandemic, many fans want to revisit this mini series.

Frozen 2Rated PGFrozen 2check price

Jump “Into the Unknown” with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf in Frozen 2. Elsa explores where her powers originated in this darker sequel. Disney has topped itself again. This time around Disney has gone all out to create one of the most beautiful animated pictures that make the first movie look very dated.

Sonic The HedgehogRated PGSonic The Hedgehogcheck price

Sonic fans will want to check out Sonic the Hedgehog. Fans won’t be disappointed by Sonic’s portrayal. It’s by no means a great movie, but it’s as good as a Sonic movie can get. While there aren’t a whole lot of surprises, it’s enjoyable along the way. The new character design overhaul was definitely worth it. This doesn’t feel like a cash grab — they really took care in crafting something that’s entertaining for fans. Jim Carrey has a lot of fun in his role as Dr. Robotnik. If you’re not already a Sonic fan, you’re probably not going to like this movie. Although it’s full of cliches and tropes, it’s going to please most Sonic fans. Quite frankly, it’s better than most video game movies.

Star Wars: The Rise of SkywalkerRated PG-13Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkercheck price

Rise of the Skywalker is a bit of a mixed bag. With that said, it’s not a movie we hate and it’s not as bad as some people say. The biggest complaint is that the story is a bit messy with a convoluted, boring opening act. There’s a lot of explaining and catch-up. They managed to get Leia into this conclusion without botching it. It’s a beautiful movie with exciting action scenes. But even though it’s visually appealing, it seems to be lacking something emotionally. Kylo Ren is explored deeply in this film, which is satisfying. There are aspects hardcore fans will like and dislike. The characters are handled well, there are fun action sequences, but as a trilogy it doesn’t feel as a cohesive whole.

  2. Bat November 21, 2015 at 4:17 pm #

A lot of these are really great and good portion of my friends received these themselves. I do believe a larger section should be opened up and listed considering how much of the gifts focused more so on physical appearance rather then mentally challenging items. Or even some simple necessities or furnishing.

    • Tee-Lah-Yang April 1, 2016 at 6:26 pm #

      Same here xP

These are the exact kind of things I’d want if I was turning 13! Great through list, gifts for every kind of girl! ?

  8. Amber July 21, 2016 at 1:30 pm #

I’m going to be turning 13 next month and many people keep asking me what I want for my birthday and I have no other way to reply than “I can’t thibk of anything right now” or “I don’t care as long as it is from you!” which I am being honest but it’d be nice to have something on the mind. This list included many items that I am considering to mention to my friends and family to drop a hint so I don’t end up with a CareBear (which happened last year ??) Thanks!!

  10. Fiona September 19, 2016 at 8:12 pm #

I really think that these websites need to stop suggesting iPhones and makeup and things like that. What 13 year old looks so bad they need makeup. And do we really need a phone now? I understand if someone has to walk home from school or whatever, but parents can think of that. By putting those sorts of things on websites like this one, teens start to think they must need this sort of stuff.

    • Bree February 13, 2018 at 2:03 pm #

They put things like iPhones and makeup on here because a lot of girls want them. It’s not that the girl is ugly or they have to have a phone. It’s that a lot of girls have fun experimenting with makeup and most kids in this generation have a phone by the age of ten and might want a new one.

      • Molly ;) November 21, 2020 at 4:50 pm #

10? That’s too young. That’s when you start getting kids phones? I thought it was age 13 or 14 when you started getting them phones!!!

    • a November 14, 2019 at 2:13 pm #

hahahahahahah this is from 2016 I am almost sure this person opinion has changed now cause almost every person in my school has a phone from their parents

    • Mia March 21, 2020 at 12:11 pm #

What if they just want to put make up for fun they can and if there parents get them a phone it’s none of our concern

    • Sophie June 7, 2020 at 9:26 am #

um well this was from 2016 but even then, idk one person over the age of 11 who doesnt have a phone, and not all 13 yr olds use make
up, but a lot of them do. ive been using makeup every day since i was 11 soooooo

  11. Joleen October 15, 2016 at 10:57 am #

I believe that the makeup actually looks good. Lots of makeup is cheap and isn’t in good cases. This site give me good quality and price which I truly love. Now I just hope I get this.

    • Ashley Mailloux December 9, 2017 at 8:01 pm #

Yeah, no. I need makeup because I look ratchet and I have a phone at 13 because I do Cheerleading and I need to text my mother on it.

  12. Martha November 3, 2016 at 4:45 am #

The duffle bag and pink clothes, Polaroid, go pro, uggs and shower speaker are really awesome.

    • Sophia VanDerMaelen June 7, 2020 at 9:29 am #

that was the most 2016 sentence ive ever heard anyone say lmao, but it was 2016

  13. andrea November 15, 2016 at 4:17 pm #

love this i am 13 i have a page of stuff i want so cool

  14. Allie November 17, 2016 at 7:10 pm #

YOU JUST GAVE ME A WHOLE BUNCH OF IDEAS!!!!!!!! I lovveee all of them so much i could ask for all of them for christmas!!!!

  15. Anonymous November 20, 2016 at 3:53 pm #

I am 13 and already have a lot of the stuff on here. I have a fjal raven kanken bag, go pro, mac book air, wireless beats, iPhone 6s, pandora bracelet, lulu lemon leggings, fitbit, UGGs, GOOD quality makeup, ray-bans, etc, etc. Also i’m completely renovating my room not as a christmas present. This website should lose the cheap drug store makeup and perfume. For Christmas i’m asking for a Cartier love bracelet, Tiffany and co. ring, La Mer products, glossier products, Kylie cosmetics holiday edition, MVMT watch, Moncler and Canada Goose Coats, etc. Also your shoe selection sucks, at least put down super stars, stan smiths, stuart weitzman boots or yeezys. All in all, this website didn’t help me at all; people may think I already have a lot on my list but this is just the beginning.

    • Kathy March 17, 2019 at 7:12 am #

      that is called being rich

    • S February 20, 2020 at 2:48 pm #

      Snobby Much?

    • Sopha June 7, 2020 at 9:32 am #

omg you are literally such a spoiled rotten snob. get out you rich spoiled brat

    • Arden November 12, 2020 at 1:56 pm #

Rude much? Get a life, no one wants to hear how spoiled you are!

    • Jayleen November 28, 2020 at 7:24 am #

That’s fine, because I don’t have a tenth of the stuff on this list, and I probably won’t get any, but I am okay with that because I am satisfied and grateful for what I got. Let me tell you, you can go around and brag about everything you have and make it seem as if you are superior and not be humble- but that is on you. At the end of the day, have all the stuff you want and trash talk all you want, it is on you. Being mature, grateful, and having the gift of humbleness is more valuable than being rich. I hope you use your fortune to not gain in life- but to give. Also, to the publisher, spontaneous job on this list, it is evident that you worked very hard, took a lot of time, and put in a lot of thoughtfulness to create such a descriptive list! Thank you!

This actually hits the spot on gift giving! I am turning 13 this April, and I saw that a lot of these items were items that are on my WISHLIST! I love how there are categories separating gift items. I will definitely mark this site as a 10/10!

I am 13 and I would love these.

  22. Luiza October 29, 2017 at 8:47 pm #

Some of these are absurd. First, don’t encourage 13 year olds wearing make up, that’s way too young.

    • mm
      Toy Buzz November 15, 2017 at 10:10 pm #

Hi Luiza, thanks for the comment and feedback!

    • Ashley Mailloux December 9, 2017 at 8:02 pm #

No it’s not. Maybe for you, but not for 90% of society.

    • Halina March 21, 2018 at 12:05 pm #

Hey sorry but I am a thirteen year old and wear makeup quite often it is quite a normal thing nowadays and I think that it is wrong for parents and other people to think that girls “just wear makeup for boys” I personally think that the majority (not all) 13 year olds would really like some nice makeup for their birthday or for Christmas. I know that this is your personal parenting decision but I just wanted to give my point of view.

      • Arden November 12, 2020 at 1:59 pm #

I would love like mascara for example but I don’t think my mom would approve at all even though I am 13.

    • Emma ball June 20, 2020 at 1:44 pm #

ok you obviously have very strict parents because I am 12 and have a lot of makeup and wear it all the time so if you don’t like it then go to a different site

  32. Priya November 14, 2020 at 6:09 am #

these were all really good… but tbh some of them are slightly irrelevant
i really want the zen as f*ck book but i don’t think my parents will let me have it lol

  33. Sophia December 2, 2020 at 12:53 pm #

I like to read anime and manga a lot. I know this list doesn’t have much on it, but from an adults perspective do you think that it’s okay for kids my age to be watching and reading this kind of stuff? Personally, I think that some of the things I come across would probably make my parents question what I’m watching, but I also don’t know. If you’ve ever watched/read anime/manga, you realize that Japanese culture has no problem creating the ideal story targeted for a teenage audience. And that includes everything. Like normalizing how a boys mind starts drifting towards girls at that age, so they like to sexualize women a lot in anime by giving them large proportions and revealing clothing, and how girls minds start drifting towards boys, so they like to make a lot of them very fit and be topless a lot. Personally I don’t care that they do this, because it doesn’t phase me, but I think that if my mom walked into my room and saw (for example) Momo Yaoyorozu’s hero costume from My Hero Academia without knowing the reasoning behind her revealing clothes, she would most likely tell me to stop watching that show. Although it has never happened, so I’m not sure because at this point my mom doesn’t care if we watch rated R movies with gore and nudity (but that’s live-action stuff). I just want an honest opinion from an adult’s perspective of if you would be okay if your child openly watches and reads that sort of thing. I always get my eye caught on merch, figures, and posters of my favorite anime/manga, but I’m too afraid to ask my mom/dad if I could by any of it.
