Cra-Z-Art closes new licensing deal for rights to Nickelodeon Slime.
Cra-Z-Art, the toy, art, and stationary manufacturer, signed a licensing deal with Nickelodeon for the rights to market and sell Slime kits in the United States.
Cra-Z-Art’s new Slime kits will be appropriately branded as Nickelodeon Slime. The slime kits will include all the ingredients required to create Nickelodeon’s iconic slime.
Nickelodeon Slime will be available in various colors and textures – glitter, neon, and glow-in-the-dark. It will be available starting this March 2017.
Lawrence Rosen, Cra-Z-Art’s Chairman, stated that the company is thrilled to be joining forces with Nickelodeon to create a branded slime product for the market.
Mr. Rosen said they’ve seen the DIY slime craze rapidly build momentum and what better partner than Nickelodeon, the iconic home of slime. He noted that Nickelodeon Slime also complements its popular arts and crafts product lines. The Nickelodeon Slime kits will encourage creativity, exploring imaginative play, and STEM learning.
Nickelodeon Slime is planned to be manufactured in the United States. Cra-Z-Art has partnered with major retailers to begin carrying the product beginning in March 2017. This is sure to be one of the top toys for boys this year.
