Funko and Epic Games have joined forces to launch new Fornite-themed toys, collectibles, and more by Christmas.
Funko and Epic Games have signed a new deal to launch a new line of Fortnite-themed toy, collectibles, and other related products.
Reportedly, this new Fornite branded collection will span 10 product lines ranging from Funko POPs, Vynl, and 5 Star figures to Pint Size Heroes, keychains, POP apparel and more. So the deal won’t be limited to just toys and collectibles.
In case you haven’t heard, Fortnite is one of the biggest games in the videogame world right now. It is available on all major platforms from console to mobile. Most recently, it made its way to the Nintendo Switch, where it was downloaded by more than 2 million players on day one. It’s a free-to-play game that is a last-man-standing game where you compete with 99 other players in PVP battle royale. The game allows you to craft and loot and the interesting thing is that no two games played are alike.
Funko’s new line of Fornite branded products are slated to hit shelves by Christmas. Brain Mariotti, CEO of Funko, stated: “We are thrilled to collaborate and partner with Epic Games to create the inaugural Fortnite product collection and to bring these characters to life for the first time.”
He added, “This collection will be a true celebration of Fornite’s incredible popularity and cultural significance, and we believe our Funko Fornite collectibles will strongly resonate with fans of the game.”
