Hasbro Launches New Mobile Transformers Game

Hasbro releases new mobile game based on Transformers franchise.

Hasbro recently launched a brand new Transformers mobile game called Transformers: Forged to Fight. The game is available for both Apple’s iOS and Android platforms. The game is free to download with in-app purchases. The game was created in a partnership between Hasbro and Kabam.

The Transformers game is a fighting role-playing game, allowing fans to create their Transformers team and duel with Autobots and Decepticons from its entire history. Transformers fans can collect characters from the Transformers universe and can pit an 80’s Megatron against Michael Bay’s Optimum Prime, among many other awesome battle combinations.

One of the game’s challenges is to craft the ultimate Transformers team, built from robots from the animated series, blockbuster Transformers movies, comic books, and Hasbro’s Transformers action figures. Your ultimate team can be the combination of both Autobots and Decepticons.

Mark Blecher, a SVP for Digital Gaming at Hasbro, stated that the new Transformers mobile game assembles a roster of the most powerful Autobots and Decepticons from practically all generations of the Transformers 30-year history. Long-time fans will experience a sense of nostalgia after playing with classic characters from early on in the franchise’s history.

Blecher added that Kabam’s team created a ‘truly remarkable Transformers experience’, and Hasbro and Kabam have boasted that fans and mobile gamers will be thrilled with this new Transformers mobile experience. The game has players upgrading bots and challenging story quests full of awesome characters.

Mike McCartner, an Executive Producer for the Transformers mobile game, stated that the Transformers brand is huge and Kabam’s game engine allowed for fantastic high-definition visuals and a gameplay experience that is perfect for the Transformers.
Further, the game delivers intense action-packed fun, huge Transformers characters, and a no-holds-barred battle arena that fans will love. Fans will discover stunning 3D environments, collect characters from the Transformers universe, and lead a team of Autobots and Decepticons.
