Introducing LEGO Friends | A New Line of LEGOs Designed Just for Girls

1 – LEGO Friends Olivia’s House 3315

LEGO Friends Olivia’s House 3315 is an intricately detailed LEGO Friends set comprised of just under 700 pieces that earn the top honors. Although this is one of the more challenging sets to build, the final product is worth building. Younger kids could use some help from their parents. This is arguably the best LEGO Friends sets of 2012 because of its immaculate attention to detail and the fact that it looks downright spectacular. The overall design is breathtaking and the use of color is wonderful. Girls can invite their LEGO Friends over for a party or to just hang out. There’s just so much to do and see in Olivia’s big house. Olivia’s house is complete with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, rooftop patio, outdoor table, and there’s even a barbeque. Once the set is built, the back portion of the house is open to allow for play inside the individual rooms. The various rooms offer plenty of play value. The set includes an adorable cat, Olivia, Anna (mom), and Peter (dad) mini figures. Several furniture pieces and accessories are included to decorate and fill Olivia’s spacious and luxurious home. Because Olivia’s house features a modular design, it can easily be rearranged and customized. 2 – LEGO Friends Olivia’s Tree House 3065

LEGO Friends Olivia’s Tree House 3065 is one of the best LEGO Friends sets with fantastic, colorful design that girls will love. This beautiful Lego set features Olivia’s beautiful tree house, an Olivia mini figure, and Maxie the pet cat. Additional animals included are four ladybirds, Goldie bird with a birdhouse, and four butterflies.  Also, Olivia’s tree house features a hidden compartment and ladders that are foldable. Your daughter can decorate Olivia’s Tree House with butterflies and wildflowers. Many accessories are include to improve the playability of the set. This fabulous looking and detailed set features the City Park Cafe with a kitchen area, indoor as well as outdoor dining areas, counter, and cash register. The realistic accessories really add to the overall fun factor. Girls can cook tasty treats for their LEGO Friends in the cafe’s kitchen or simply chat and grab a bite to eat in the spacious outdoor dining area. They can even check out paying customers with money and the register included with this set. Andrea and Marie figures are included with this set. 4 – LEGO Friends Heartlake Dog Show 3942

With the LEGO Friends Heartlake Dog Show 3942 set, girls will have to prepare and pretty up Mia’s pups for the annual Heartlake dog show. The set is well designed with a a lot of play value.  Girls can showcase the pups on the podium if they place in the top 3 and strut on the runway like a supermodel dog to bow-wow the judges. Girls can even guide them through an obstacle course. If they finish the obstacle course within the top 3, they can claim their prize on the podium. This LEGO Friends set includes Mia, a mini figure, and two puppies – a brown one and a white one with a spotted eye. Scarlett and Jacky minifigs are also included in this magnificent set. This set features a podium with a runway, a grooming and preparation area, two obstacles, trophy with a stand and outdoor scenery. Girls will appreciate the details inside and outside the Beauty Shop. For instance, there are see-through window panes and and nice arched, clear glass entrance.   This set features the Butterfly Beauty Shop, salon furniture, a fountain and a bench. Emma and Sarah mini figures are included with this set. All LEGO Friends may visit the Butterfly Beauty Shop for a makeover, to gather by the soothing fountain, or to shop for makeup and hair accessories. Some of the other accessories include hair elements, lipsticks, a purse, bows, sunglasses, a hair dryer, hairbrush, and a mirror. These accessories really add to the play value. Payment can be made with the play money included with the set. This LEGO Friends set is comprised of  just over 220 pieces and it is suitable for girls ages 6 or older. 6 – LEGO Friends Heartlake Vet 3188

Girls who love animals or aspire to become veterinarians will love the LEGO Friends Heartlake Vet 3188 set. This set features plenty of details, such as an aquarium, exam table, mailbox, horse pen, hedgehog cage, x-ray and scale. Mia and Sophie, a veterinarian, mini figures are included along with this set. In addition, this set includes Bella (a horse), Scarlett (a dog), and Oscar (a hedgehog). Realistic accessories and veterinary equipment help to enhance the playing experience. Be sure that you give your undivided care and attention to all pets that come into the Heartlake Vet. The vet’s goal is to provide service at the 95-percentile plus levels.  Girls can also decorate the set with beautiful flowers, butterflies, and ladybirds.  Girls are sure to have a blast while taking care of animals at the Heartlake Vet. Stephanie arguably has the coolest ride in all of Heartlake City. It’s called LEGO Friends Stephanie’s Cool Convertible 3183 and it is an absolute joy to ride in.  The paint job is wonderful with a mixture of lavender, baby blue, and yellow. Girls can carpool with their LEGO Friends and go for a joy ride. They could also choose to go to their favorite destinations like the Beauty Shop or the beach if it’s a sunny day. There’s nothing more that Stephanie loves to do than cruising in her Cool Convertible on a day filled with sunshine. She loves letting the gentle breeze blow her hair with the wind.  But before hitting the road, sparkle it up at the car wash and be be sure to buckle up Stephanie’s puppy in the backseat. This set includes a Stephanie minifigure and Coco (her pup). This set contains 130 pieces and it is recommended for ages 6 and up. This is sure to be one ride full of fun and adventure. 8 – LEGO Friends Mia’s Puppy House 3934

The annual Heartlake Dog Show is around the corner and there is a big prize  awaiting the winner. This is a cool little set that offers an easy build. Girls will help Mia groom her puppy and get ready for the big competition. Girls will use the soap, spray bottle, and tub to give Mia’s puppy a bubble bath. You want to leave a good impression with the judges so be sure to give it the best wash and groom it well. Girls can also brush Charlie’s hair on the grooming table and dress it up with a pretty pink bow. Remember, if you win first prize at the dog show, you can hang the first-place ribbon on the puppy’s house to showcase to all visitors. When girls are in the colorful and spacious LEGO Friends Olivia’s Inventor’s Workshop 3933, they can spark their imaginations and creativity and invent something amazing the world has never seen before. Olivia can then show off her cool inventions to her LEGO Friends. They could also give her valuable feedback for improving it. Olivia is attempting to create a remote control pet robot in her workshop. Jot down mission-critical plans/equations or draw mock designs on the chalkboard and closely examine crystal under the microscope. The crystal could be harnessed to power the remote control pet robot. The only question is how can this be accomplished? It’s up to you and Olivia to figure this out in her workshop. Failure is not an option so never give up hope. Harness the power tools to finish assembling the robot and lubricate him with the included can of oil. It’s your task to motivate Andrea so that she can give the performance of her lifetime. Who knows there may be an agent watching in the audience. As she performs on the mic and piano be sure to shine the spotlight on her. And for the show’s grand finale, dance to your favorite song. It will be your girl’s job to ensure that this is Heartlake City’s biggest show to date to ensure satisfaction! Remember, Heartlake City is counting on you to deliver! This set is a fast-build since it only contains less than 30 pieces. This is perfect for younger girls who are new to Lego construction. Olivia’s desk has plenty of work area. An Olivia minifigure is included as part of the set. Be sure to focus on the task at hand and help Olivia complete her work on her laptop computer. Try not to daydream too much so that you can be productive and get your work done on time and within budget. Also, decorate her office environment to motivate her to complete her work. LEGO Friends Stephanie’s Pet Patrol 3935 features Stephanie’s cool quad bike with a trailer. Girls can use Stephanie’s Pet Patrol vehicle to patrol for lost or wounded pets. You have to help Stephanie rescue Heartlake City’s animals. We don’t want any animals in Heartlake City to suffer from injury. If they are injured, rush them immediately to the Heartlake Vet (LEGO Friends set 3188). With this all-terrain vehicle, you can drive off-road and locate animals and take them to the vet or back to their respective owners. Once you find them simply load them into the trailer and ride away. You can transport the bunny back to the vet and feed him a carrot. If the bunny attempts to escape, you can use the bunny cage. This set features a bike trailer, outdoor scenery, a bunny cage and carrot. This set includes one Stephanie minifigure and Daisy the bunny.
