Mattel and the WWE have joined forces to launch WWE Superstars action figures for girls.
Boys have long had their wrestling action figures. Now girls have their turn in the spotlight with their own WWE Superstars Action Figures. Mattel and the WWE have announced preorders for the new WWE Superstars action figure doll line for girls.
Girls will have all their favorite WWE ladies to choose from, including Eva Marie, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Natalya, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Alicia Fox. Each action fashion doll will retail for about $14.99. In fact, preorders are being accepted at ToysRUs.com right now.
Stephanie McMahon, the Chief Brand Officer of the WWE, is proud of this partnership with Mattel. Girls can relate to their favorite female wrestlers. These figures truly inspire a sense of confidence, empowerment, and strength in girls.
The 12-inch action figure dolls are outfitted with a variety of fashionable attire and they feature articulation and are poseable and ready for action. The new action figures were first unveiled at Comic-Con in San Diego.
Fans will also be able to expand their role play with a WWE Women’s Championship Belt, Bayley’s Headband, and Sasha Bank’s Legit Boss Rings.
Mattel really understands how girls play – which is very different from how boys play. Mattel is excited to bring to market the first female WWE Superstars fashion dolls. They can’t wait to see how the market responds to their new offering.
It looks like this line will be competing against the Barbie Wonder Woman Doll, Barbie Fashionistas, Disney Descendants, and the incredibly popular DC Superhero Girls. It will be exciting to see who wins this fashion battle!
Preorders for the WWE Superstars Action Figure Dolls began on July 25 and they will hit stores this September. Girls have not had action figures for a long time … I guess the wait was worth it.
