Moose Toys announces new Shopkins partnerships to expand brand.
In the past three years alone, the Shopkins franchise has created more than 200 partnerships around the world and more partnerships are expected in the future.
New partnerships have been formed with Build-A-Bear and Sketchers in an effort to expand the brand worldwide. Previously, deals had been established with big brands like Crayola, Scholastic, and Thermos. So now Build-A-Bear and Sketchers will be joining the portfolio of licensees.
According to Paul Solomon, CEO at Moose Toys, the Shopkins brand is recognized for its innovation. In fact, that is exactly what they are seeking in potential licensed partnerships. This partnering strategy is sound – as it creates synergy between the two companies in an effort to drive Shopkins’ growth as a brand on a global scale.
Solomon added that such partnerships serve a dual purpose. First, they help elevate the Shopkins brand to another level. Secondly, it satisfies fans with what they are looking for. It’s the best of both worlds – fans’ favorite brand of Shopkins meshed with the products they love.
This is definitely not the last time you’ll hear about the Shopkins. More Shopkins announcements are anticipated in the future. For now the main Shopkins news revolves around these newly established partnerships, the upcoming live Shopkins theater show, Shopkins Direct – Shopkins subscription boxes and the Shopkins Cutie Cars revealed at this year’s New York Toy Fair, which all serve to strategically drive Shopkin’s growth. The Shopkins continue to perform well and there are no signs of slowing down anytime soon!
