Moose Toys’ Shopkins is declared the top collectibles toy brand for girls.

According to 2017 annual NPD data, Shopkins is the official champion of the Playset, Dolls, and Accessories toy category in the United States. It is officially the top collectibles toy brand for girls.

Shopkins Core, Shopkins Happy Places, Shopkins Shoppies, and Shopkins Cutie Cars are leading the pack in this competitive and lucrative space. The collectibles market continues to grow with no signs of slowing down.

Moose Toys introduced the Shopkins brands just four short years ago and now it’s one of the biggest girls’ toy properties the world over. Moose has even managed to branch out with Shopkins brand extensions in the form of fashion dolls, doll houses, and even vehicles.

In a statement, Paul Solomon, co-CEO of Moose Toys, said, “innovation, refreshed expansion of product and aligned activity across licensing and entertainment have extended the brand life cycle of Shopkins far beyond the traditional lifespan of a hot collectible toy.”

“We are proud to have built an evergreen franchise, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners and retailers around the world for their ongoing support. We could not have done this without them and we look forward to a successful 2018.”

As the Shopkins brand embarks on its 5th year in the toy industry, Moose Toys has plans to push the envelope with its properties in an effort to continue to stay relevant with fans. It will be interesting for fans to see what kind of innovations Moose Toys introduces to maintain the strong enthusiasm and demand for the Shopkins brand.
