Earlier this week, Walmart announced Walmart Toy Lab, a free, interactive online digital experience making toy shopping fun and convenient. It’s part of a partnership between Walmart and eko, a leader in choice-driven entertainment.
Anne Marie Kehoe, Walmart’s Vice President of Toys, stated: “Walmart Toy Lab is a way for us to create a digital experience for kids to really see our hottest toys in action as we enter the holiday season.”
“KidHQ is filling a gap left behind by shuttered toy stores and old-school catalogs, and in the process is reinventing how brands connect with people,” said Ivy Sheibar, Chief Brand Officer of eko. “I have young children and know first-hand that kids have grown accustomed to interacting and playing with technology. KidHQ fulfills these expectations by inviting kids to choose what happens next throughout the experience rather than passively consuming content. At eko, we believe it’s the future for entertainment and brands alike.”
How Does Walmart Toy Lab Work?
Simply visit www.walmarttoylab.com on your tablet or computer to test out 2019’s most-wanted toys for the Holidays through an interactive digital experience without even leaving your home.
What Does Walmart Toy Lab Do?
Walmart Toy Lab brings fun to holiday shopping, combining play for kids and convenience for parents in the rush of the holiday season. It lets families test out the year’s hottest toys via an interactive online digital experience on your tablet or computer.
Are You Ready To Step Into The Driver’s Seat?
Step into the Walmart Toy Lab and become an expert toy tester within a fun workshop. Essentially, it’s like a virtual toy store run on interactive video. With two hosts, you use a ‘Funtroller’ and choose to ‘Test’, ‘Look At’, or ‘Play’ with the hottest holiday toys digitally. For example, you can cruise around on the Hover-1 Kart, keep watch from the Paw Patrol Lookout Tower, and hatch a dragon with How To Train Your Dragon Hatching Dragon. What’s cool? Before adding it to your wish list, you can digitally test out the toys.
Beginning on Tuesday, kids and parents can interact with these ‘Must-Have’ Holiday toys via Walmart Toy Lab:
Frozen 2 Elsa’s Enchanted Ice Vanity
Frozen 2 Arendelle Castle
