The Grossery Gang Series 4 Bug Strike & Series 5 Time Wars

The fifth series of The Grossery Gang called Time Wars releases later this year. Here’s your ‘First Look’ at what you can expect on store shelves.

Moose Toys unveiled The Grossery Gang Series 5, known as Time Wars at the New York Toy Fair 2018 in New York City. In addition to Time Wars, Moose will launch Series 4, a line called Bug Strike featuring 150 collectibles. Bug Strike is based on the movie that released in December of last year.

The Grossery Gang S4: Bug Strike

For The Grossery Gang Bug Strike core line collectibles, each collectible figure will feature its own unique weapon accessory. These weapons add additional play value to the toy line. Fans will be able to build their armies with new characters and weapons to protect Cheap Town from parachuting Para Crawlers, Sticky SWAT, and Bug Brigade. There are over 150 to collect in the line and new teams include Dessert Warfare, Hair Force, and Army Preserves. Fight the bug strike with the Grossery Gang – it’s an all-out-war for who rules Cheap Town!

There are also bigger accessories in this line that allow you to catapult or fling your figure into the air, such as Crusty Catapult and Rotten Crossbow. The action figures have also been upgraded with each character having its own unique special attack feature. So, for instance, Grot Dog features a spring-loaded arm, allowing you to swing around his onion mace. Captain Lice Cream has a special projectile feature where you can literally shoot his head off. And General Arak Attack, the main villain this season, has a special attack where he can fire his spider eggs from his tentacles.

There’s lots of fun in Grossery Gang Series 4. Some the Bug Strike figures feature a special finish where they are wall crawlers – they’re sticky. That means you can throw them on the wall and they crawl their way down.

The Grossery Gang S5: Time Wars

Then launching later this fall will be The Grossery Gang Series 5 Time Wars, which introduces a completely new theme to the line. The new collectible figures are from the future so the gross is gone. They come back in time and are sucked up from The Grossery Gang. The only way the guys can fight back is if they call all their brothers throughout time to galvanize together to do battle against Cyber Slaught Pizza.

Additionally, there will be new Grossery Gang playsets. First, there’s The Grossery Gang 2-in-1 Rotbot Assault Vehicle that transforms from a vehicle into a hovercraft. The wheels actually fold upward so you can have a futuristic flight type of play. It features a double missile launcher, front-mounted winch, and includes two exclusive Grosseries. This playset works along with your Grosseries action figures.

Secondly, there is The Grossery Gang Chomp N’ Chew Trash-O-Saur. He moves at the legs and features a cool chomping action. True to form with The Grossery Gang, when you eat the Grossery bot characters, they come into the mouth and out through the back end. He’s even got projectile missiles and comes with characters he can fling off the top of the dino horns. Both playsets fit both the action figures as well as the collectible figures.

All of the Time Wars action figures will feature upgraded weapons for each character.

Lastly, Moose will introduce toilet vessels where you pour water into the back tank and as the water travels through the toilet, it features a cool fizz and surprise reveal and your Grossery Gang characters float to the top of the fizz. This will also be included in the large pack and there 150 to collect in the line.
