Mattel brings its line of toys based on the Xbox smash hit Halo to the Toy Fair along with its entire Mega Bloks lineup.
At the 2016 New York Toy Fair, Mattel unveiled its impressive Mega Bloks lineup: Halo, Call of Duty, Destiny and Assassin’s Creed. Now Mattel owns the Halo license so it has a solid offering for videogame fans of these chart-topping franchises. Could these toys be some of the hottest kids toys of 2021?
Mega Bloks Halo
At the Mattel booth, the Halo licenses stood out as Mattel is bringing Master Chief to the physical world. Many of Halo’s iconic characters were on display along with vehicles from the game. The target age for these toys is misaligned with the suggested age for the Halo videogame.
Mega Bloks Call of Duty
Mattel’s Call of Duty offering includes an impressive lineup of vignettes, action figures, and armored vehicles.
Mega Bloks Destiny
The Destiny collection includes iconic characters and items from the popular Destiny videogames.
Mega Bloks Assassin’s Creed
The Assassin’s Creed line includes characters based on the Assassin’s Creed universe. They look fantastic and are incredibly detailed.
Some people may consider these toys to be too mature for young children as they are featured in Mature titles for more mature audiences. However, there is nothing mature about this toys that they can’t be enjoyed by all audiences.
Mini Mixie Q’s
Mini Mixie Q’s is a line featuring teeny collectible figures with pop and swap interchangeable heads. This is a collectible toy suitable for both girls and boys. They may be purchased as Blind Packs and playsets, which deliver more play value. The real star is the playsets since they allow for stacking or offer interlocking play worlds.
