USA Today reveals new My Little Pony Guardians of Harmony Line.
USA Today got an exclusive early look at the new My Little Pony Guardians of Harmony Line. The new My Little Pony toys will be based on the animated series that appears on the Discovery Channel. The toys will be shown at the New York Toy Fair and we expect them to be top Christmas toys.
Fans have been asking more out of their Ponies with new ways to play. They want to see the characters brought to life in a completely different way. Everybody loves combing their Ponies hair with a brush, but Hasbro wanted to do more with the new line.
Designed for kids 3 and up, The Guardians of Harmony shows fans a different side of the Ponies. We have never seen Ponies like this. Each pony is dressed with weaponry like cannons, swords, and shields. For example, Rainbow Dash will wear Wonderbolt Goggles and come with a flying turtle.
While the line will have popular characters like Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash lesser known Ponies like Queen Chrysalis and her Changelings will also make an appearance.
The single figures will be priced at $9.99. Characters will include Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Shadowbolt and more. The Figure and Friend assortment will include 2 characters and retail for $14.99.
Our favorite new toy? The 13 inch Spike dragon which features a removeable armor and projectiles. The Ponies can even ride on his saddle.
All of the new figures are based on the animated series, which sets the background story for the toys.
My Little Pony toys are popular girl toys, yet this new line will appeal to all Pony fans. There is something for everyone.
