The new partnership would allow Wicked Cool Toys to create a new line featuring color-on plush toys bundled with Crayola markers, paints and more.

Wicked Cool Toys and Crayola have partnered to create a new line of arts and crafts-inspired plush toys.

With this newly established partnership Wicked Cool Toys is granted the exclusive rights to create plush figures that can be colored and they will be bundled with Crayola markers, paints, and more.

Interestingly, at the New York Toy Fair, Mattel’s Barbie and Crayola have announced a similar partnership where fans can design their own fashions with Crayola markers for Barbie to wear. Mattel and Crayola have a whole assortment of products featuring Barbie and Crayola set to debut later this year.

Wicked Cool Toys is also planning to create a brand new line called Color ‘N’ Plush with pixelated art puzzles as well as creative activities that incorporate slow-rise foam. Slow-rise squishies continue to be a hot trend in the market. This new line is set to debut in the fall, while the pixelated art puzzles and slow-rise foam lines are set to debut sometime later in 2019.

Jeremy Padawer, co-President of Wicked Cool Toys, stated: “We are thrilled to partner with Crayola to bring high quality and fun art activity toys that we believe both children and parents will love.”

“We continue to align with the most incredible and trusted classic brands and are incredibly proud to add Crayola products to our portfolio,” said Padawer.

Warren Schorr, VP of Business Development and Global Licensing at Crayola, commented, “We are excited to work closely with Wicked Cool Toys. Its creativity and innovative approach to toys will provide a colorful, fun new way for kids to experience our iconic brand.”
