Disney Introduces New Latina Princess At Toy Fair 2016

Disney and Hasbro unveil new Latina Disney Princess at Toy Fair 2016.

Disney will unveil its new Latina princess, Disney Elena of Avalor, at the 2016 Toy Fair in New York. Disney fans will want to put this on their holiday toy list 2021. It’s going to be one of the top toys for girls. This is part of the inclusion movement occurring in the world of toys. It’s a multicultural society in which we live and it’s great to see toys beginning to better reflect the diversity in our world.

This new princess is based on the new Disney Channel series beginning this summer. The backstory involves Elena being drawn into her amulet while protecting her little sister and grandparents. Apparently, this is the same amulet that Sophia the First wears and Sophia must restore Elena to her human form and to her kingdom.

Disney Elena of Avalor and Skylar 2-Pack

One of the highlights of this collection is Hasbro’s Elena of Avalor and Skylar 2-pack. The new Disney princess looks stunning in her beautiful and fashionable attire. And Skylar, Elena’s winged friend, looks fantastic and colorful in blue feathers and yellow skin.

Disney Royal Gown Elena of Avalor Doll

Another doll based on Elena’s character will be the Disney Royal Gown Elena of Avalor doll. Elena is dressed for the royal ball. She will come complete with a beautiful and stylish dress, tiara, bracelet and removable shoes. This doll will be available in Fall 2016.

Disney Princess Magical Wand Cinderella

Another highlight from the show was the Disney Princess Magical Wand Cinderella. Kids can wave the wand to magically transform Cinderella’s look and have her sing “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” or “A Dream A Wish Your Heart Makes”.

Disney Tsum Tsum

Also, Disney will be expanding its Tsum Tsum line of collectible and stackable figures, which will now include three different sizes of these popular Disney characters.
