Lego has unveiled its entire lineup for 2016. We will see ninjas, knights, and dragons.

Lego has finally revealed its new 2016 lineup of sets and figures at the New York Toy Fair. We got just a glimpse of what the company had to offer at the London and Nuremberg Toy Fairs earlier this year. In all, the Dutch-based company showcased over 300 new building sets at the NY Toy Fair. Many of these sets will make it to the top of children’s Christmas lists later this year. We have put together a list of all the best Lego sets the kids will want in 2016 here.

Lego seems to be playing a conservative card with its safe, family-friendly sets, while rival, Mega Bloks is testing the waters with videogame tie-ins, such as Halo, Call of Duty and Destiny.
Some of the standout new LEGO sets are the LEGO Star Wars The Freemaker Adventures, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Assault on Hoth 75098, and the Jurassic World Hybrid Rampage Indominus Rex.

Some of the newest additions to LEGO lines include Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Lego Angry Birds Movie and Lego Nexo Knights, Batman v Superman. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Nexo Knights are expected to be some of the hottest new properties introduced this year.

That was not all! Have no fear – there were classic LEGO lines on display at the show as well. LEGO City fans can expect a brand new volcano explorers theme and fire and airport related sets. LEGO Minecraft will feature a horse for the first time ever. A new movie based on LEGO Ninjago is slated for release next year, so there were a few cool new sets on display. And LEGO Jurassic World will see an extension in the form of Hybrid Rampage Indominus Rex. Fans can also expect LEGO Mixels Series 8 and 9 sets to be released this year.

Superhero fans rejoice! There was a showing of Marvel and DC Comics themed LEGO sets, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Captain America: Civil War, and Marvel Ironman vs. Loki.

Even Disney licenses were present in the form of Princess Ariel’s Dolphin Carriage.

Here are some of the top LEGO sets from popular established properties:
LEGO Minecraft – The Fortress, The Jungle Tree House
LEGO City – Fire Response, Prisoner Island, Airport/Volcano Exploration
LEGO Ninjago – Ninja Bike Chase, The Lighthouse Seige, Misfortune’s Keep
LEGO Elves – Elvendale School of Dragons, Fire Dragon’s Lava Cave, The Secret Market Place
