LEGO Batman is experiencing success at the box office.
The LEGO Batman Movie has experienced fantastic success at the box office after being released for only two weeks thus far. To date the animated LEGO movie has generated $202 million at the global box office, driven primarily by fan enthusiasm. And this success will most likely translate into greater sales of LEGO DC Batman sets.
In its first weekend in the United States (US), The LEGO Batman Movie scored the biggest box office opening so far in 2017.
It has experienced similar success in the United Kingdom (UK). After the film’s initial debut, it has retained the #1 spot in the UK.
Sue Krill, the president of marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures stated how happy and proud they are of another great success with this latest LEGO film.
Krill congratulated all of the company’s partners, including the director Chris McKay and all of the talented people who made it a fantastic experience for the entire family.
The LEGO Batman Movie is set to eventually open in other countries, such as China, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia.
